心血來潮，翻出塵封的唱片，The Replacements，這個不成功的美國地下樂團我居然有整套的（除了加料的再發行專輯）。"16歲的憂鬱Sixteen Blue"來自他們1984年Let It Be專輯，應該算是他們最棒的一張，當年滾石雜誌給了4顆星，而2005年加上未發行單曲的再發行專輯卻給了滿分5顆星。

已過了16歲很久（兩次以上），聽這首歌眼眶還是會紅，連續好幾天都響著這首歌的旋律與歌詞。主唱Paul嘗試把一個狂暴的地下樂團轉往更為寬廣的方向，歌慢了，情感清楚了，或是耽溺了，不管，總之具備感染力了。不過酗酒不濟事的吉他手Bob卻沒有跟上，寧可擺爛。在他被開除前，還是謹守本份，在這首歌中，像烏鴉叫的吉他聲調反而十分迷人，尤其是最後一段。
